Normally hos...Love that creative wreath...so cute.<br /><br />Normally hosta's should be divided in the fall, just when the leaves turn color and start to die down.<br /><br />But since your pot is so overcrowded, go ahead and get a sharp knife, I always used a serrated bread knife.<br /><br />To make it a little easier to cut through the soil, and roots, water well before taking it out of the pot. And just cut it into quarters...replant, water well, keep in a cool shady place for a few weeks, and you will see signs of it growing soon. <br /><br />If you can cut between the "eyes" try and do that, but if you can't don't worry.
