This is my latest Pinterest project.
It's not one of the "easy" ones tho!
A couple of weeks ago, I stopped at an Estate Sale and bought this big box of clay flower pots for $10.00.
I had wanted to do this clay pot wreath for about a year, so I thought "I'll just whip this out".
WRONG!!
It took about 5 hours to do. I used approximately 25 clay flower pots, a bag of moss, a grapevine wreath and some artificial succulents. I didn't want to use real, because on the front of the house where I'm putting it, I was afraid that when I had to water it the dirt would go all over the porch. Plus, it wouldn't get the sun it needed.
So anyway, I started by wiring on each individual pot in a pleasing arrangement. I have about four different sized pots. And be sure to get some of those tiny ones to use as fillers.
Then I started hot gluing the moss in between the pots and tried to cover all of the wire. I then glued in about 5-6 artificial succulents. When I was finished (I thought), I decided that I needed some variety, so I used the trailing vine and the little green wispy stuff.
I am very pleased with it. I had bought these artificial plants at Michaels on sale for $1.99 a while back. I already had the grapevine wreath so I don't have a lot in it and I think it looks really good.
But, it was very time consuming - just be aware of that!!

Wow! That is gorgeous! I never would have thought any of those plants are artificial. Is it a problem to hang because of the weight? You are so clever! I just love your creativity!

I love your wreath...and I know what you mean about it took a few hours. I did one (no where as many pots as yours or full) and it took me about 3 I think...Good job!

This project was worth the time! I'm always the one who takes twice as long to do things as everyone else, so this probably would have taken me 10 hours. Hope that makes you feel better ;).
