A Fall Chair for Laynee

I decided Laynee needed a chair for the season but I didn't want her to have anything scary.

So, I made her a simple pumpkin chair.

This is a little chair that was already black.  This chair is from Ikea and was $12.99 I think.

I painted the seat orange.  I floated black paint around the edges and then painted a pleasant pumpkin jack-o-lantern face.

I decided it needed a little garland.  So I made one out of scrapbook paper and spelled out FALL.  On each end where I attached it, I added several different fall colored ribbons and made a little cluster.

Then I hot glued a tiny acorn where the ribbon was glued on.

So, now Laynee has a little chair by the front door to celebrate Fall.

Enjoy!

Till next time, Judy

  10. That is just darling, Judy. I love it and I love how you floated the black around the edge so there are no sharp defined edges. She will LOVE it! xo Diana

  12. All your Halloween decor is so cute. I haven't decided if I will put up any Halloween decorations this year. Steve prefers that I just do fall decor.

And, when you read my reply to your comment on my blog, I was thinking about the recipes from North End Loft. I don't know why but I always mix you two up.
