Ever so often, I think it is good to stop and realize how another blogger blesses your life! We probably don't tell them that often that they are a daily inspiration to us.
So, today I'm doing just that and the person that inspires me on my blog is Brenda at www.cozylittlehouse.com.
Brenda is the reason I started blogging. I never could have gotten started without her help. She has walked me through so many steps in this adventure that it is too many times to count.

She loves red and......
she absolutely loves dishes!
She can make the most gorgeous vignettes out of anything she has and has a talent for putting items together that will blow your mind! She is an avid gardener and has the most beautiful patio full of plants that you have ever seen.
She inspires me by what she does on a daily basis. Her life is centered around her two Yorkies - Abi and Charlie - who are hilarious. Abi smiles at you and Charlie is really laid back.
She recently moved from her little blue rental house into a wonderful patio home and within a matter of just days was showing how she already had it decorated.
So, if you don't know Brenda, be sure and go over to her blog and visit her. I guarantee you, she will inspire you too!
Enjoy!
Judy
What a lovely post, Judy. I agree, Brenda is a very sweet and generous lady. I was honored to receive an email from her one day telling me that I was being featured in one of her Welcome Wagon posts. I was so flattered. It is a wonderful way to welcome newbies to the blogging community!
ReplyDeleteJudy both you and Brenda are lovely blogging friends. Its is an amazing community.

ReplyDeleteI think you have been a wonderful friend to Brenda. I don't know how she would have coped in the last few months without you. It's so good to know she's gtting settled in so well.Blessings
ReplyDeleteYes, Brenda is a wonder! I have followed her for a few years and find hidden treasures when I visit. The pupsters are so adorable. One of the best things on her blog was my introduction to you.
ReplyDeleteYou and John are truly two of God's angels. We who read her blog, know of the extra steps the both of you have taken to make her feel welcome, loved and cared for.
I count the three of you (and the 3 lovely furbabies) as my lovely internet friends.
Thank you for sharing your life with us.
I agree Judy! I feel blessed that I found Brenda's blog also. I have (stolen) borrowed so many of her decorating ideas as I love her style. I have added red all over my house and wonder WHY I didn't have red to begin with. I've followed her through all her ups and downs and am so happy that she has found some peace now and wish her only happy times in her new digs.
ReplyDeleteOn a little side note your not too shabby yourself! I've borrowed quite a few of your project ideas and you are so creative. I love to see what you've found on your little shopping excursions and sometimes get so jealous of your finds!
Blessings to both of you!!
Judy you and Brenda are both inspirations to me! Talented, kind and great friends!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Linda

Hi Judy! That's a touching post. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on your friend Brenda with us.
ReplyDeleteI'm not good at blogging or at decorating but I have got one thing in common with her: I love RED.;-)
I've been reading Brenda's blog for a long time and really admire her talent in so many areas. I love her Cozy Little House and her decorating style and she's also very generous with help when you ask her a question. I appreciate that so much. I'm so glad she has such a good friend in you, Judy! And I think this was very sweet of you to highlight her blog. I haven't been following yours long, but I enjoy it, too. You are also a very talented lady!
ReplyDeleteI think it goes both ways with friends. :)
ReplyDeleteI have been inspired, informed, and entertained by Brenda's blog and by your blog, too, Judy. It is always a treat to see what Brenda is doing in her garden or her home, and what fun to see all of the wonderful finds that you make flea marketing and thrifting, and then the wonderful decorative way you refinish and use those finds.
ReplyDeleteBrenda is a special lady..and so are you Judy..you make a lovely pair of friends..Thanks for sharing your talents with us..both of you!
