Bella and I wish you a very Merry Christmas and wishes for a great 2015!
I just want to say thank you to all of my readers for their support the last year. You will never know how special each and every one of you are to me.
Even tho this has been a hard year, I'm reminded of all of the blessings the Lord has given me.
To think that John endured cancer for 18 months, 3 kinds of cancer, 45 treatments and 3 surgeries and did not even have one pain pill until the night before he passed is a huge blessing to me. We had 3 1/2 years of his retirement that we spent virtually 24 hours a day together doing what we wanted. Having a husband who made sure that everything was in order has been a tremendous help to me.
So, I have a precious son, grandchildren and great grandchildren who are here for me and I am so grateful for them all.
Thank you again for each and every one of you who sent encouraging messages and prayers to our family during this time. I'm not going to say that this has been an easy Christmas, but I have made it thru and will continue to look to God for guidance, support and peace that only He can give.
Thank you all and have a Blessed Day!
Judy

ReplyDeleteI didn't see this post until the today (day after Christmas). Mom and I had a lovely quiet day. We too are about to lose a loved one. My dog Rocky has rallied about three times, but isn't going to this time. I'm so glad you have sweet Bella, Tiffany and the babies to be with you this holiday season. John is watching over you now , until you see him again. My thoughts are with you, Judy.
ReplyDeleteJudy, I have thought of you so often over these past weeks and have kept you close in prayer <3 as a widow of 14 years

You were so so lucky to have such a good man and for so many years together Judy..Bless your sweet heart..
ReplyDeleteWe, women, who have lost our sweethearts just have to keep putting one foot in front of the other and keep on, keeping on.
ReplyDeleteI lost my sweetheart (also John) when he was only 52 years old back in 1992. He, too, saw that the necessary things were in order before he passed.. That doesn't make it any easier not having him with me though. I know it's rough Judy.
I hope the new year will bring, with it, many blessings to you and your family.. Know that I'm thinking about you.
Hugs, Charlotte in Va.
Seasons Greetings to you and your family.....
ReplyDeleteMay God continue to give you strength and peace Judy.
ReplyDeleteJudy,
ReplyDeleteI am sending much, much love your way and prayers for strength and support.
Your witness is a blessing to so many people. I am thankful that your sweet husband left things in good order for you. That is such a blessing.
Thinking of you and wishing you well, both now and in the year to come.

You are a beautiful, caring, sweet person. That warmth just glows on the pages of your blog. The amount of really good times you had with John must bring you comfort now. Your little Bella is so cute, and I imagine, your constant companion. When you hug her, (who was hugged by John) it will be like having a "group hug" all over again!
ReplyDeleteYou're truly blessed to have your friends and family with you to help you through this very difficult time. Blessings to you in the new year!!
