Additions in the Master Bedroom


I am almost finished with my Master Bedroom in my new home.  The walls are a pale, creamy, buttery yellow.  Hopefully, I will have more photos to show you soon of the rest of the room.  (And yes, I see that the one shelf bracket is off - I will correct that! LOL)

This wall is next to my huge armoire that is a dark green.


This wall started out with the two beautiful plates that my friend Dorothy gave me several years ago for my birthday.  She is a true friend.  She always knows exactly what I want and what I like.  I told her I was on the lookout for some plates that had green and yellow.  These were perfect to start this arrangement.

I have angels, birdhouses and it is topped off with the gorgeous angel wings that Su sent me after John passed away.  They are very special to me.


I made this arrangement to go over my jewelry armoire.  Love the rustic base with moss combined with the beautiful silk organza yellow flowers.

      Thanks Susan. The plates are not near as dark as they look but I love them. My bedspread is a dark sage green with the big burgundy roses - RL. It is going together well.

      Thanks Teresa. When I found the armoire and measured it, it was exactly 8' tall. When they delivered it, it was too tall. Right in the center at the top was a wooden piece that was just screwed on and they were able to take it off and we made it fit!

      It is hard but everywhere I look, I'm reminded of the precious time we had together. I just know he would be loving this home but I also know that I can always go back to the old house with Tiffany and girls living there. There are so many memories at that house that I could never completely leave it.
