This has truly been a crazy month so far. With everything going on and everything moving so fast, it is just crazy. I am trying to stay on top of news but not listening to it continuously. It is just too much. It is definitely times like this that make me wish so much that John and Bella were here with me. I am so fortunate to have Tiff and her family here taking excellent care of me.
Speaking of Tiff and her family, if you have followed my blog very long you will remember that when the twins were born, they were born 4 months early. Kaycee (above) has had a lot of hospital stays due to her lungs not being healthy and having a lung disease. She only weighed a little over 2 pounds. Saying that, her pulmonologist(?) called Tiff at work this week and said she needed to be out of daycare and quarantined at home. So, Tiff had to walk away from her job she loves so much and keep all three of the girls home. I picked up the three little ones every day at daycare and kept them until Tiff got home. Working at a Dr's office, they didn't close until 6, so she didn't get home until about 7. I loved every minute of having them for those few hours daily.
So, please keep all of them in your prayers but especially Kaycee.
Now on to some "springy" things....
This old concrete bench was at my folk's house for as long as I can remember. When they both passed away, I got it and it has been in the yard at both of my homes.
So, stay cheerful and be kind.
This is my favorite photo from the hospital when the twins were in incubators - my hand, Laynee's (she was 2 years old) and the tiny one is Kaycee.
Hang in there everyone
Judy

DeleteHi Judy,
ReplyDeleteThat last picture made me cry. What a gorgeous remembrance of when Kaycee was born. I would love to go and get some Easter decor but most of the stores now are closed and I want to stay as safe as possible. I will have to wait to find some Spring decor. This is very hard and scary times we are living in. Glad the girls are home and safe. You have to be very careful too. Sending you my love, hugs and prayers. xoxo
I am really staying at home which is driving me crazy! Just trying to keep busy. Stay safe sweet friend.
DeleteI loved all of your spring things and bright yellows.. and chicks of course. The table setting with the yellow placemat and dishes made me want to get some yellow dishes! I want/need new dishes and just put up some light aqua curtains, and I think yellow would look so perfect with them! Hum.m.m.m. - prayers for you and your family and especially Kaycee are coming your way from me.... I hope all will remain well and healthy. Marilyn
ReplyDeleteHow Marilyn. Spring is a good time to look forward to the future, so that's what I am trying to do. Stay safe.
