The days are warm and the mornings are cool. I think Fall is really here. Hopefully, the trees will be beautiful this year because of the not-so-hot summer and we've had our fair share of rain. We still need more but we've been very lucky to receive what we have.
Laynee told me it was time to put out the Halloween décor. I don't do a lot of that but since she has started to preschool, she is very aware of the holidays, months, seasons, etc. So, here goes.
First, I put out her little chair.
She loves this chair.
And it's cute on the front porch.
Next, add the Halloween pillows to the bench on the front porch.
Combined with the pumpkins and autumn blooms I showed you last week, I think I am done.
We have been missing but John has been in and out of the hospital the last couple of weeks. His incision keeps filling up with fluid and they have to drain it. Friday, they did surgery and put in a semi-permanent drain for a couple of weeks. So, we're counting on that working for him.
Have a great Sunday!
Judy
Judy, I love that chair too. :):) The pillow is precious. I really love seeing everyone decorations. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

ReplyDeleteJudy, the chair is so cute! Tiger was here on Friday and is enjoying my few Halloween decorations. I gave him a friendly ghost for his house and he loves it. Once in preschool they do seem much more aware of seasons and holidays. Hope the drain will make John more comfortable. You both continue in my prayers!

ReplyDeleteThe pillows and chair sure are cute! You always come up with the cutest decorations. I hope your hubby gets things working for him and can stay have and rest. If you get a chance, look at my blog list on my sidebar. Right above yours is another truck that looks just like yours, except another color! How funny is that? Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThe chair is so cute. You have done more decorating than I have, as I have done none. :/
ReplyDeleteLooks really cute Judy, I don't like scary stuff too, only cute stuff! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the chair and the truck. So cute. Hope the new drain works. When i had cancer surgery years ago I had two drain holes. Man, did that thing drain. They kept it in for about 3 weeks. What a difference it makes. Less pain and less feeling bay all over. He's a trooper and so are you.
ReplyDeleteJudy, I LOVE that bench! I am looking for something similar for my porch. I have a small porch so I need a cute little bench!

Love the chair - did you paint the pumpkin on it? I'm sure you're physically and mentally exhausted with John being in and out of the hospital. I hope you are taking care of yourself, too. Big hugs.
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about you and John, hoping that you are both doing well! Love your holiday things! So cute!
ReplyDeleteYour pillows and banner are so cute on the porch! Love the Itsy Bitsy spider. I’ve done nothing yet to decorate, must do something! Hope that drain works for john, I’m rooting for you guys, Annette
ReplyDeleteJudy- I am so sorry that John's health has been so bad the last few weeks. It is so disheartening to have it go on and on and on and never really be well.
ReplyDeleteLove your Halloween decor. I am not huge on Halloween but more about Fall in general.
Hope you have a good day- xo Diana
Love the pumpkin chair and the pillow!! Both are so cute.
ReplyDelete~Cindy
Judy, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers..
ReplyDeleteYou're a precious Grandmother to paint the cute, cute chair for Laynee.. But, of course, she's a sweet Granddaughter.
I love your little yellow truck and the spider pillow.. I found a red truck, not antique, but cute and red.
I think that John is really a "trooper" considering all he's been through.. You are too.
Blessings,
Charlotte in Virginia
