Another Photography Outing

These photographs are from  Woodward Park and the Rose Gardens in Tulsa.  This is a special place for me because at the Rose Garden by the fountains is where my husband proposed to me!! Isn't that romantic?

We took photos of trees and flowers.  Hope you enjoy these.  Brenda is trying real hard to make a good photographer out of me.  (Good luck Brenda! LOL)

I love the yellow roses because that is what we had in our wedding.

But, there were also orange roses,

and red roses,

and squirrels.

It was a pretty day to be out.

Enjoy!

Till next time, Judy

  1. You got some great shots, Judy! What a sentimental place to visit! My husband and I had our first date at the Palmer House in Chicago and we were married there exactly one year (to the date) later!

    Have a wonderful evening! :)

    I love roses.
I need to take more time and practice taking pics, but as we know life gets busy.
Hope you are having a great week.

  7. Ohhhhh how romantic...

The place where your husband proposes is one of the most special places in our hearts...

I had to leave mine behind in White Rock, but every time I walked that pier, I remembered the storm, the rain, and the worry that I would drop the ring down into the ocean before he got it on my hand, LOL.

  9. The pictures are beautiful. You must be doing it right...maybe with time and practice we will too. Are many of the trees there still so beautiful? Wonder what kind of tree that is? A very nice sentimental day out.

  12. Your pictures are beautiful Judy. It's so nice to have such special memories about the Rose garden..
Your foliage and flowers are lasting so much longer than they are here in Virginia.. We had our first freeze last night~~`down to 28 degrees.. All of my flowers are gone for the season.
Keep up the good work, you have a great teacher..
I'm glad you two girls have such good times together.

  13. What beautiful photos and such a fun outing. I did not realize my love of photography until I started blogging... I still have so much to learn but when I first started my blog I knew absolutely nothing. I think you will be surprised how quickly you become good at it and how much you will enjoy it! :-)
