Mother's Green Dish Collection

My Mom had many collections.  So, I come by it honest!  She had this collection of green with pink roses.  Most of it is Lefton China.

She loved finding old oil lamps and having them refurbished.  She found this one and thought it went perfectly with her green collection.  The bottom of it is really more green than yellow.

So, I have this collection that I inherited on top of an old armoire in my living room.

The doll in the first picture is a Marie Osmand doll.  One of my granddaughters, Tiffany Kay, had blonde hair and dark brown eyes.  You never see a doll with blonde hair and brown eyes.  I was watching QVC one night many years ago and Marie Osmand had her dolls on.  Would you believe that this blonde haired, brown eyed girl was named Tiffany Kay?

It was meant to be.

Enjoy!

Till next time, Judy

  30. Oh my goodness Judy! A doll lover! I love all my dolls and each one has a story to tell! I love Tiffany Kay! What a perfect find! I once found a doll named Naomi who happened to be black like my dear friend Sharon! She is still mad at me for hooking her on doll dollecting that fateful QVC doll show day! HaHa! Naomi is her moms name and often is a rare find in the doll department! I am really enjoying my visits here Judy! Blessings, Anne
