Weekly Treasures

I got up, got dressed, John and I went out for breakfast and I took him home and rushed to the fairgrounds to go to the Flea Market.  Alas!!!! It was no where in site.  There were a lot of things going on there but no flea market!  Now, who would want to go to an Auto Show and/or a Gun Show instead of the Flea Market?

So I hit a couple of Estate Sales and came home.  Earlier in the week, Brenda and I hit a cute little shop in Claremore and got some of these goodies there.

I love these old folding tape measures.  The vintage cherry plate will go in my kitchen and the little cream vase will happily join my collection of McCoy, Haeger, and USA.

These crocheted baskets with embroidered flowers will make beautiful pillows.

Love this darling rusty watering can sitting on this little footstool which I will recover.

These jar lids will make those cute pumpkins next fall.

This is one of those calendars that you add a new one to each year.  I was just amazed by the beautiful painting and all of the 3D additions -  the little flower boxes, the little straw hat, wreath, etc.  Really cute!

So this was my stash for this week.

GIVEAWAY TOMORROW!!

Don't forget the Nest Banner Giveaway tomorrow only!  Just comment and wish me a Happy St. Pat's Day and you will be entered.  This is for Sunday only.

Enjoy!

Till next time, Judy

  2. Judy- You found some really great things there. Do you know that we don't have any flea markets here at all...even in summer? It's the thrift stores or garage sales here- xo Diana

  12. Great new treasures. I would definitely vote for a flea market but my hubby would much prefer the gun show.

  13. Hi Judy, great finds!!!
No I can not imagine choosing a Auto, or Gun Show over a Flea Market . . . what's up with that? :)

  14. Judy dear, where do you find all these estate sales?? We just don't have that many here and when we do, we wait in huge long lines to get in and everything is picked over unless you get there at 6 in the morning. All the flea markets and garage sales start when the weather gets warm...like April.

Okay, no more complaints...I love your goodies, especially the watering can! Oh happy day!!

    XO,
    Jane

  17. Hello Judy,

Love the treasures you found, the rulers are my favourite, they remind me of my Dad.

    Happy St Patrick's Day.

  18. Happy St Pats Day, Judy! :)

Love those old rulers...they remind me of my grandfather. The embroidery and crochet is lovely. It always saddens me that people sell handwork like that rather than pass it on to someone in their family. I picked up a cross stitch by hand tablecloth in a thrift store last year and couldn't believe that someone would not keep it as a family treasure. Oh well it is my treasure now :)
