Part #2 of My Four Day Shopping Escapade

OK, here we go with part #2.  Girls - this could go on  for several weeks. LOL

This is a portion of my "loot".

I got a big metal "C" for the house. (yes, I know, it is crooked!)  The coffeepot/teapot (how do you know the difference?) is stamped Sheffield on the bottom.  I think that's good news.  The little girl in the big bonnet is a cream colored planter.  I found two really pretty sets of pastel colored salt and pepper shakers.

Anyone for a Piggly Wiggly ruler?

A nice red transferware plate.

A set of very old, vintage chicken salt and pepper shakers.

Look at the darling little sifter.  It has a wooden handle and is painted in bright colors on the side.  A tiny rusted toy truck and an itsy bitsy ceramic chicken sitting on an itsy bitsy ceramic nest.  They are two separate pieces.

This was such a pretty piece that I just could not refuse it.  It is stamped Royal Copley on the bottom.

You can't see it very well, but in the background in front of the red transferware plate is a another pretty piece of McCoy.  Be still my heart!

A lot of these pieces will be for sale in my Etsy shop.  If you see something you can't live without until I get it listed, let me know.

Enjoy!

Till next time, Judy

  2. You find the greatest stuff! My mom had that same sifter...totally forgot about it until I saw your photo. Where do you store all your findings? I have some of my stuff on shelves in the basement and other things packed away in Sterilite containers.

  3. You really had some good luck on your trip, Judy! Weren't the things in the 50's so cute, the sifter and S&P's? The teapot/coffee pot is wonderful, how do you tell the difference?

  5. Oh boy! You found some wonderful things, Judy! The royal copley piece reminds me of the little bird dish I have (it was in a photo of my ironing board this week.) Same colors - so pretty! The yellow and blue shakers look like LuRay - are they?

  7. Hi Judy....
Loved seeing all your new found treasures. My fave was the red transferware creamer. So cute!

And your great granddaughter? A darling doll! So adorable.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and commenting, too. Loved hearing your childhood "dolly" story.

Take care and stop by any time. Sincerely, Susan
