Thank You All From The Bottom of My Heart.....

Just a short note to thank you all for your prayers and concern during mine and John's recent hospitalization.

We are home now and feeling better.  John still has some of the pneumonia to get over, but I think being at home will help.

It breaks my heart to have to tell you that John has been diagnosed with cancer - that dreaded word.  We've known for about a month or so.  He is undergoing a hormone therapy and starts the first of 45 treatments on August 7th.

We are very blessed in that we have wonderful doctors and have all the confidence in the world in them.  We will be doing the treatments here locally so family will be close by.

Just remember us both as we go thru this.

Posts and Etsy shop will be done as I have time.  Don't know exactly what kind of time will be involved in this, but he is my first priority and I will take as much time as it takes to do my very best at taking care of his needs.  I know you understand.

Again, thank you all for your love and prayers!

Judy & John

PS:  Thanks to Brenda for keeping everyone posted.

  19. Judy, so good to hear from you! Ever since Brenda told us that you and John were both sick, both of you have been in my prayers. I think I speak for all of us when I say that we understand that you can only post when and if you even feel like doing so. You will never be far from our thoughts - and always in our hearts. Love and prayers to you and your beloved husband.

  20. Judy- I am so so so very sorry that your hubby has cancer. MyHero and I went through this about 2-1/2 years ago when he had cancer. He had surgery and they got it all but it is always a scary thing, isn't it? I will be praying for him AND for you because your job in this will not be an easy one. If you ever want to "talk" -I am only an email away...sometimes it helps.

I did a little blurb for you on my blog today- Blessing to you- xo Diana

  24. Judy, I am glad that both of you are out of the hospital, but then to find out that your other half has that nasty C word. I wish there was a miracle that would make it magically go away and nobody had to worry about it anymore. You and John will both be in my thoughts and prayers. It does help to have friends who have gone through similar things to talk with. Take care. Many Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.

  31. Judy, I will be praying for you and your husband as you go through this together. Treatments have advanced greatly in the past years. Still, it is a burden not easy to bear. God's blessing on you both.

  32. Dear Judy - ask God to give the treatments through your practioner so they will be done correctly and get all the cancer. John and you are added to my prayers.
My eldest daughter just got a cancer diagnosis of stage one in one breast last Tuesday.
Treatments are improving as we speak and we will win these battles with God at our side!
