Saturday Treasures 8/24/2013

Another fabulous day at the Tulsa Flea Market and a couple of garage sales.

The tall white things are candlestick holders.  I think they'll be cute in another color somewhere in my house.

This beautiful set of two platters are marked "English Abbey" and will be finding a home here at my house.

There is this sweet girl who has the most beautiful vintage laces and fabrics at the flea market and I got sixteen bags full of pieces of old lace.  It is gorgeous!  I can't wait to start sewing it.

Isn't this a sweet little hand painted piece?

Don't know exactly what these are - but, I do know they are hand hooked and so pretty.

I found two unusual baskets - one natural and one red that have the handles on the back.  That way they can be hung on the wall.  Also, found another little camping toaster like I used for a picture holder in a previous post.

This little silver-like tray is a souvenir of Louisiana.  I will be sending it to my sweet friend Susie.

Last, but not least, I got this little tea set with sugar, creamer and tray for $1.00!!  SCORE!  I figure it'll be cute in some fall vignettes.

So, that's my haul for today.

LAST DAY TO ENTER GIVEAWAY!!

Leave a comment, say hello, etc., to enter the drawing tonight for credits to my Etsy shop.

I will announce the winners (3) in the morning.

Good luck to all!

Enjoy!

Till next time, Judy

  13. Hi Judy,
You find the most amazing deals each week. I really look forward to seeing your new treasures. I think my favorite piece this week is the hand painted picture. It speaks to me, and I think is it beautiful. I think that the hooked items are called penny rugs. I think they are used on the table. I think.
