Have been just a little busy lately. Thought I'd show you what I've been working on for my Etsy shop for the Fall and Halloween.
Lots of burlap runners in various patterns. Spiders for Halloween, a beautiful Damask pattern and a bird pattern for Fall.
Don't exactly know what happened when I photographed the runners up close. The picture of the spider runner above is the true color. They are all on a natural colored burlap background with spiders in black and the birds and damask pattern are in dark chocolate.
This is a take-off on my Snowman Muffin Tin for Fall. This cute thing is all handpainted. It has added dimension with a wooden raised button for the sunflower, a real ribbon bow on the wreath and the scarecrow with a fabric scarf, raffia hair and a felt hat. It hangs from two different fabric strips.
Isn't this the cutest pumpkin print. This pillow has a contrasting orange print cording.
This pillow is made out of the old vintage tablecloth I found last Saturday at the Flea Market. It is combined with with an orange designer linen and trimmed with a vintage crocheted trim.
A Fall pillow that is reversible. The Fall print on the front reverses to the same damask print - all done in burlap.
Isn't this an evil cat? This vintage cat image is done in felt on an orange cotton background and is trimmed in a black and white ribbon edging. Note the cute black tulle collar!
One of the Halloween runners is a bright orange cotton duck fabric with a contrasting stripe of Halloween print and a lime green ruffle.
This runner has a band of spooky Halloween houses and a ruffle of black tulle gathered on each end.
So there, that's what I've been doing the last couple of days. All of these items will be on my Etsy shop - www.20northora.etsy.com
within the next few days.
Enjoy!
Till next time, Judy

Such cute stuff! Do you wash the burlap that you use for pillows before making them?
ReplyDeleteYou have been really busy getting your Etsy shop stocked up for fall. I need to do the same with mine, but don't seem to have the energy when I get home from work.
ReplyDeleteYour pillows are just lovely and such a nice variety too. I'm sure they'll brighten up any room for the season.

Judy!
ReplyDeleteYou are so talented! My gosh, what colour and pattern and flair! I hope you do well with them, but if I had created such artistic autumn fun, I don't know that I would be able to part with these pieces!:)

What a fabulous collection and theme - I love everything, the black and white prints are especially pretty. Where I live there is very little interest in decorating our homes like this, which is such a shame. Everything you have made is so fun - the muffin tin is a great idea!
