Since the Flea Market is closed for the Fair, these are items that I picked up at a local Estate Sale and a garage sale. Brenda and I went to this Estate Sale and found a few things.
As you can see, I got a cute set of little paper mache drums, a beautiful little book, a felt purse with cute flowers, a square cookie sheet (in the back) and....
some gorgeous lace that I cannot wait to start sewing on pillows. It was a tad bit expensive but oh, so pretty and...
a green Depression glass compote that matches the dishes Brenda gave me last year on my birthday, a cup and saucer in a really pretty rosy red color and a rust colored salad plate that I thought would be pretty for Fall and....
this English ironstone plate with a picture of Anne Hathaway's cottage and a set of crystal salt and pepper shakers.
Enjoy!
Till next time, Judy!
You found nice treasures this week. My favorite find this weekend was a vintage first aid box - cream enamel. I was fortunate to go to the Pioneer Lodge indoor sale (ladies) and spend some time visiting and looking and buying some useful items. I love this particular retirement village sale. They have a bbq for hotdogs with the fried onions enticing one to buy, and a portion of their community works together to have a sociable money raiser. They don't advertise so it is always a surprise when they have a sale. My treat on Saturday.
ReplyDeleteLove visiting your posts, sending my very best thoughts to you both.

ReplyDeleteYou did good - nice finds!
ReplyDeleteI checked the estate sale listings here and only one looked interesting, but the company holding the sale has a history of high prices on vintage bling so did not bother to check it out.
Have a great week.

You scored big! Love everything. I think I'm beginning to really like the brown Transferware. I don't own any and it would like really nice in a fall vignette.

Hi Judy, you found some good things! I love the lace. I went to the Thrift Store yesterday and only found one thing, an Easter tree. I really only wanted the wooden eggs and bunny ornies on it, but it was only a dollar so I got it.
