Thanking You For The Prayers

I am so grateful and so humbled by all of the comments lifting John and I up for prayer.  I thank each and every one of you and want you to know that we feel those prayers.

Surgery is at 7:15 on Thursday morning.  We have to be at the hospital at 5:45.

Thanking you again.

Judy

  11. Still sending prayers and good thoughts your way. Someone reminded me before I had surgery a few years ago that God knows how many hairs we have on your heads. He created everything there is. He watches over everything and he does not make mistakes. We only see a little bit of God's plan for us but He sees it all. When my children were tiny babies, I couldn't explain to them why I took them to the doctor and allowed them to be stuck with a needle. They only knew that it hurt. I knew that it was so they wouldn't get horrible diseases but I couldn't explain that to them. I think it's like that with God. We just don't have the capacity right now to understand why things happen. I think we need to remind each other about these things. All will be well. XOXO

  17. I have been praying for you and John and will continue to do so tomorrow. I will also pray for the doctors and nurses taking care of him. I put this Bible passage on my refrigerator a few days ago - one of my favorites and a good reminder: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7). I hope it gives you some comfort.
