Spending The Day With SuperGirl

Today was such a fun day.  Laynee's daycare was having Super Hero Day.  So, naturally, Laynee went as SuperGirl!

I took cupcakes because they were having a tea party this afternoon.  Then Laynee came home with me for the rest of the afternoon to play.

And play we did!  We played with paperdolls, dollhouse, Frozen game, and magic sand - just to name a few.  She is so excited because next Monday, she starts Pre-K.  I can hardly believe it.  The funny thing is that she will be the third generation of mine to go to the same elementary school.

She didn't want to have her picture taken, but, once she started, she didn't want to stop!

All kind of funny faces.  About that time Tiffany came to pick her up and Laynee wanted Tiff (known as TeTe) to have her picture made with her.

They are so cute together.

Now, on another note.  Someone posted a bunch of rather raunchy blogs to my blog list and I had to remove it and in the process, erased them all.  So, I will be working at redoing my blog list.

Some people just have too much time on their hands.

Have a great day.

Judy

  1. Hi Judy, I am trying to catch up with friends now that the boys are back in school. I have had a busy summer but an enjoyable one. Your little one has sure grown and doesn't seem like she should be that old. They just grown up to fast and of course, we want to keep them younger. I have enjoyed catching up with you. Take care. 2. Hard to believe school has already started here. My youngest Grand started preK this year also.
Yes - there are some that have way to much time on their hands. I had to start moderating comments long ago, as some would leave comments with links to some pretty bad stuff.
How was someone able to alter your blog list without your password?

  3. Our school started last Monday and I help out my neighbor with her 10 year old daughter when ever she needs to be watched. She is delightful.
Your granddaughter is darling and what a pretty little girl. Sounds like you had just as much fun as she did. Did Bella play also?
Oh how mean of someone to do that, shame on them.
    Have a great weekend.

  4. Hi Judy! Oh, it's nice to meet Miss Super Girl! She is adorable and they are so much fun at this age, aren't they! I can't believe it's time for school to start! Where did the summer go? I'm so sorry about the meanness that happened. Why do folks do this?

  7. Your granddaughter is adorable and it sounds like you 2 have lots of fun together. We're heading out at 5 am to pick up 2 of ours for a few days of fun. You're so lucky to have your grands nearby!

Sorry about the hackers! I've noticed feeds from strange sources on my blog, but I'm not sure if it's hackers or what. Who has that much time on their hands to mess with total stranger's blogs?!

  12. My goodness, I didn't even know someone could add blogs to our blogroll other than us. That's scary.

But your day with this super hero sounds like the best of fun!

  13. Our 10 year old still likes to spend the day with us because I do nothing but what she wants to do - play games, play dolls, cook, sew, whatever she decides. I have as much fun as she does. So sorry people don't have something constructive to do and leave others alone.
