I decided it was time for a giveaway! What says Fall more than Candy Corn? This giveaway includes the burlap painted candy corn banner, a plastic candy corn bucket, a small metal candy corn tin and....
a set of candy corn cookie cutters....
a candy corn ceramic pump with hand lotion and a big bag of candy corn - of course!!
You must have some candy corn cupcake liners!
And to top it all off, a vintage crocheted potholder and a candy corn pillow made by me.
To enter, just comment on my blog any day this week and I will announce a winner on Thursday - October 1st.
You may not know this, but, I have a thing for dragonflies. I just think they are the most graceful and gorgeous insects.
When I did Interior Design work, I always added a dragonfly somewhere in the design. Just a touch of something to remember me by.
This dragonfly was on the screened in back porch this week.
Bella and I are thoroughly enjoying the back porch with these pleasant mornings and evenings.
My little curb side pick up is working wonderfully. The shutter on the left actually goes on the other side of the sliding glass doors next to the light fixture. I just haven't gotten it attached yet.
I went to a garage sale in the neighborhood and the lady had all kinds of wonderful plants at very reasonable prices. I bought this climbing plant. I think it was a Passion Vine but not sure. It sure is growing fast thol
The begonias are just blooming like crazy.
So, that's what is going on around here.
Be sure and enter the giveaway. Would love to ship the candy corn goodies to you!!
Enjoy!
Judy

Your porch decor is really looking nice, Judy. You did a great job putting this porch together. I love that you had a dragonfly visit since it has always been an element in your decorating.

Hi Judy! I've been following your blog "quietly" in the background for quite a while now. I love to see all of the wonderful things you find and then watching what you do with them gives me all kinds of inspiration to get busy myself! Thank you for being such a positive moment in my day!
ReplyDeleteHi Judy. I love the creativity you have for re-purposing things. You do such great work. I would be truly honored to have the candy corn collection in my home. Such fun!
ReplyDeleteOh every time I see that back porch of yours, it just makes me smile! I do love dragonflies too and have been able to capture a few shots with my camera. I love how you leave that as your trademark...what a very cool idea! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteJudy, I've been enjoying your blog forever. That cabinet your found and redesigned is the wonderful. I've been keeping my eyes open for a "free find" ever since I saw yours. Your home is looking more and more festive as fall gets into full swing. Loving it!

Judy I would love to receive these goodies. I love how you are so creative in your decorating, especially pillows.
ReplyDeleteI can't quite believe that fall is upon us so fast. I would love to have one of your pillows and those other goodies. Enjoy the fall weather.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute giveaway! I wish I could join you and Bella on your wonderful porch!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful giveaway Judy. I love the halloween touches - I can't wait for next month! I love your curbside pick up. It reminds me of a canal boat's fixture and would suit one perfectly. As for dragonflies, one of my jobs today was to help one that was about four inches long to get back out of the window. I love these beautiful things and was speaking to it softly until it flew out. The MAN in the office was standing on a chair and screaming every time it came near him :-D He screamed again later when it popped back in to say thank you!!
ReplyDeleteI love all the red and black in your new porch! Also the added vintage touches. Wonderful giveaway, please enter me>
ReplyDeleteThanks
I love your blog so much and always find a visit with you, and your incredible creativity, to be just what I need at the moment. I do love candy corn!! This year's Fall contest in my world is to see if I can get through Sept, Oct, Nov without eating any!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Judy! Your porch looks lovely and I like your road side find! The colors are just so pretty! The items in your giveaway are just wonderful! Please enter my name and I always love it when you pop in to see me.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Judy - what a great giveaway, please count me in! I just adore that cute little settee made out of a crib - I could spend a lot of time cuddled up in the corner - and all the colors are my fav!! I would love to see more photos of that room - I think I could live there - haha!
ReplyDeleteHi, Judy - I love what you've done with your porch and your "found" items! So glad that you and Bella are enjoying your new porch. I am also a dragonfly fan (and sunflowers, hydrangeas and black and white cows) and have little touches of them scattered around my house. I would love to be entered in your giveaway, especially for that cute pillow! Let me know if you add more fall pillows to your Etsy shop.
ReplyDeleteTake care!
Bert K.
Love everything as usual! I have some news...will call you soon! XO
ReplyDeleteJust love your blog. Your new porch looks so comfortable and a perfect place to watch the birds and look at your beautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway. Thank you for the opportunity.
That plant looks like a Passion Vine to me, too, Judy.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget what I warned you about last week when I saw your new gutter down-pipes...you have to get an extension on the one that is at the flowerbed where the vine is planted - the way it is now, when rain comes down the pipe, it will flood your flowerbed and may compromise your foundation. At Lowe's or Home Depot, you can get an extension to slide on at the bottom that will have a bend in it to allow the rain to bypass the flowerbed and run out onto your lawn instead. Or, call your gutter company back to fix the problem. Good luck with that!
You are definitely Decorator Extraordinaire! Lovely porch and love what you did with the shutter. Also your plants are gorgeous out there!
ReplyDeleteI have tried to enter your giveaways before but have never succeeded. I'm really hoping this works this time cause everything in your giveaway is so cute. My middle grandson would love all of it -- he loves candy corn!!!
