Getting There!


The third bedroom is coming along...


slowly adding decor.  

And now, say a final good-bye to the hall bathroom.
It had been redone as far as fixtures, etc, but they are all shiny chrome.


So, starting next week, the bathroom will be totally torn out and redone.


All new shower,


this cornice torn out over the shower,


the vanity will be completely torn out and replaced with the vintage piece I found a few months ago.



Behind the door is a whole wall of cabinets from floor to ceiling which I will keep.  I have an idea of using beadboard wallpaper in the inserts and replacing all of the knobs and pulls.  What do you think of that idea?


It even has  pull out hamper which I will keep.


So, I'm excited to get this phase done.  Mike thinks he can do it in two weeks and if so, I'll be moving in permanently the week after he finishes.

So, the end is in sight!

    A new bathroom with such great 'old' features - can hardly wait !, especially the laundry hamper in the wall of cupboards. I think that adding the beadboard wallpaper will look great if you add it to the doors. There will be a lot of moving things around ahead, always a challenge as well as fun creating new spaces. Hugs.

      I am just so anxious to do the beadwork wallpaper but know I need to wait until the contractor gets thru or it'll get messed up.
