A Fun Afternoon With My Precious Great Granddaughter

In Tulsa, we have a beautiful park named Woodward Park in the older part of town.  It is next to a gorgeous rose garden and the flowers are always so pretty in the spring.  It is noted for hundreds of azaleas, however, a few years ago some kind of disease hit most of the azaleas and the others were all old and kind of spindely (?) so they tore them all out and replaced them.

I pick Laynee up at 2:45 and don't pick up the twins at daycare until 5:00.  So, today Laynee and I went to Woodward Park to look at the flowers.  I took a few too many photos with my phone.  LOL

Oh and by the way, the wind was blowing about 40 mph.

She wanted her picture taken with every color flower.

She said "Oh look, they planted these pink ones to match my dress".

So, we had a very special afternoon.  Hope you enjoy all of the beautiful flowers and Laynee.

Enjoy!

Judy

  15. Please tell Laynee that she looks like a little PRINCESS - " Beautiful Princess of All Beautiful Flowers"!
Great Grandma Judy should make a collage of these beautiful photos and have a canvas printing made (Walgreen's is running a 50% off special!)

  16. Judy, how sweet that Laynee wanted her picture taken with all the different colored flowers. These are really great pictures, and I loved the pink and white ones, but I have to say that my favorite was with the red flowers. She looks so cute standing behind the red flowers - red flowers get to me every time. :) This is a pretty place, and special times spent with your great granddaughter.
