Where Does My Time Go???

What a busy summer it has been already!!!

Laynee turned six years old (which is just unbelievable) and we are having her party tomorrow.

She is so excited about going into the 1st Grade!

The three little girls are taking private swimming lessons and each one has to have an adult in the water with them, so on Mondays and Wednesdays, Tiff and I don our bathing suits and go to swimming lessons.  HATE SWIMSUITS!!

We are leaving next week to take the girls on vacation.  The high point of their vacation last year was staying in a hotel.  I told Tiff we could just rent a hotel here in Tulsa and I think they would be happy.

But, we are taking them to Clinton, OK to a fabulous place called Water Zoo.  It is a three level water park that is all enclosed.  Will be so much fun!!

I am still constantly amazed at my yard.  Wanted to share these photos with you of my back yard...

lilies, lilies everywhere and every color...

and on my back fence...

every morning is a new surprise!!

Have my 4th of July wreath up ready for the holidays.

Hope you enjoy the flower pictures.

Judy

  1. What lovely surprises in your garden. Swimming suits I agree - well, the darling kids won't notice, they will just be so busy and happy to be learning to swim. The kids will be thrilled with the holiday you've planned. Hugs.

    1. For sure, cramming my body in a swim suit was not fun, but the girls are having an absolute ball in the water. We will be a the Water Zoo for two days so I'm just getting prepared. LOL

      Have a great weekend,

    1. It's just so amazing how fast they grow. Our little twins will be four in October and that is also unbelievable. It is such a blessing to watch them as they grow up tho.

      Have a wonderful weekend.

  3. Glad to see you back! You are such a wonderful grandma and great-grandma...I know those girls mean the word to you. Hope you have a lot of fun on your vacation!

  4. They are such a blessing to me. Anytime I get discouraged and/or sad, I just go get them and they can change my mood instantly. LOL They are so precious. Tiff ranks up there also. She has been such a helper since John passed. She constantly keeps up with me - calling several times a day - and just does anything I need done. I am so grateful for her.

    Have a good weekend.

  5. Judy, I have missed you. I love your little Laynee's adorable face...she makes me think of our Emma when she was that age. She's 13 now...they grow up too quickly Judy. Hug Laynee for me. I love all the pretty flowers around your place. You have some unusual lilies. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

  7. Thanks Teresa. I'll tell Laynee you sent her birthday wishes. Gotta get those 4th of July decorations out - it seems to be here so fast and then it's over.

The Water Zoo we go to is all indoors so luckily we don't have to worry about the little ones getting sunburned. Thanks goodness.

    Have a great weekend.

  10. Your flowers are so pretty. I love looking out at all the pretty colors. I live in an apartment with no place to grow things of my own. I do have a few plants in pots. Great pictures. Sandra

    1. Thanks Sandra. I have really enjoyed the efforts put into these gardens before I moved here. The couple who lived here were master gardeners and I am certainly enjoyed their work.

      Have a good week.

  13. Your yard is gorgeous! So many beautiful flowers! Have a wonderful vacation and, yes, I hate bathing suits too. Don wants me to get one for my trip out to CA, but I don't want to spend a day being depressed!

    1. Thanks friend. Am looking forward to the trip with the girls. Don't have definite arrangements made yet for Bella but will firm that up this week.

Splurge and get a bathing suit - you won't run into anyone you know!! That never happens, does it? I can run to the grocery store in a town this size and think I won't see anyone I know. And yep, it happens everytime.

      Have a great week.

    1. Thanks for dropping by Mary. Bella is already pouting because she knows I'm going to be gone a few days. She is so spoiled but I don't know what I would do without her. She is so much company and such a protector!! Tell Waldo and Lili woof back from Bella. Have a great week.
