Terrarium with Vintage Children's Tea Set

Most people would use a terrarium for plants - not me!!  I had this darling little china child's tea set and decided I wanted it to be out where it could be seen.

When I was in Texas last month, I spotted this lime green terrarium at Home Goods and could not resist it.

So......

I put my tea set in my terrarium.  It's not the norm, but then I'm not either.

Isn't it a precious set?  It only had two plates, one cup and saucer, a creamer with lid and a tea pot with lid.  It is just so sweet!

Happy Spring!

Enjoy!

Till next time, Judy

  3. The great thing about those pretty terrariums is that you can put whatever you want in them! Why not think outside the box, right? I love what you did with yours.

  9. That Homegoods shop certainly makes it hard to leave empty-handed! I was there recently and brought the cutest elephant bowls home - see a recent post I did!

You made a sweet vignette here - and Spring green is now in the air.......and the pollen will soon prove it!
    Easter blessings - Mary

  10. What an inspired use of that terrarium, Judy! The tea set looks adorable! And that color is so lovely and spring-like. (And I love those daffodils, too!)
