Saturday Treasures

Today was the Tulsa Flea Market and I found a few treasures.  This first photo shows what I found:  a miniature little cabinet filled with teensy tiny bolts of fabric, an old clock to add to my collection, two small white ironstone pitchers and a vintage HD motorcycle.

Here is the clock added to some of my others and the two tiny pitchers.

Here is the vintage HD motorcycle that is also a cigarette lighter.  My son will love this - it's for him!

I got these two "linen" pieces.  The crocheted basket that is sewn onto a towel will be removed and I'll hand sew it onto a pillow top!  The flower is for "what I don't know".  It's just so pretty and is four layers of soft fabric and will be gorgeous atop a pillow.

Ta Da!!

Another piece of McCoy!

I must admit that he is not too pretty but he is McCoy!  He is a Sprinkler (which I never would have known if it didn't have a sticker on it that says "sprinkler").  It has the handle and there is an opening in his mouth for the water to come out.

So, that's it for today.  I always get so excited when I find a piece of McCoy that I don't have.  I'm venturing out into some of the colored pieces which I've never done before.  It's always just been the off white pieces.

But, this and the rooster I got a few weeks ago are just so unusual!

Enjoy!

Till next time, Judy

  3. I want to go flea marketing with you so I can find goodies like yours! That is the prettiest colored clock I've seen yet. The only thing I bought today is groceries. :)

  6. I love your white ware. The Mccoy piece was a terrific find. It is difficult to find anything made in the USA.
