Remember the girls' playhouse that I was redoing to use as a workroom and storeroom for my Etsy shop? Well, let me show you how it is progressing, slowly but surely. We've had alot going on and so it's kinda been on the back burner of "to do" lists.
Here's how it started out. Originally, there was a wooden porch but it rotten out so, we just had boards there.
We tore that all out....
and built a larger porch.
On one of my Saturday Treasures, I showed you this gosh awful bed headboard I found for $10.00. I knew I could do something with it.
I also already had these posts in my storage.
I cut the headboard up into pieces using all that I could.
This spindle part is part of the old headboard as well as the brackets above.
Amazing, eh?
So, hopefully, before too long, I will be able to get it finished. It's coming along very well. I am going to paint a brightly colored rug on the porch and use the stepping stones I painted in front of the steps.
Progress continues!!
Enjoy!
Till next time, Judy
