Saturday Treasures 8/10/2013

Well, I (as usual) went to the Tulsa Flea Market this morning.  It was cool outside so after finding just 3-4 things there, I hit a couple of garage sales.

Look at the darling little chicken salt and pepper shakers.

Fell in love with this piece with the mother bird and eggs in the nest.  Don't really know what it is made of.  It's very pretty tho.

THEN, my co-hort, partner in crime, Ethyl - whatever you want to call Brenda called and enticed me to go to lunch and shopping.  So, she twisted my arm and I went!  LOL

Between the Flea Market, garage sales and a consignment store we hit, I found all of these precious goodies.

Look at that whole box of red glassware - all brand new, a set of blue toile napkins - all new (thank goodness), some little pitchers and what nots (I'll show you next week what I am going to do with them), a Snow White Barbie doll still in the original box (this is for my sister Jeannie's collection),  a small world globe, a wooden cruet set complete with all four of the original bottles, an old Coca Cola bottle holder, rolls of ribbon (which I really need), and these gems.....

this beautiful pitcher in perfect shape with the lid with bunnies on it, a huge wooden candlestick and

this gorgeous vintage kitchen lamp for my kitchen which is going to be vintage by the time I get through with it.  Isn't it darling?

So, I ended up having a really good day.  I will be selling the majority of these and my other Saturday Treasure items on my Etsy.  If you see anything you are interested in, let me know, okay?

Enjoy!

Till next time, Judy

  19. Hi! I found your blog through Debra at Common Ground, who I know here in Springfield. I was born in Muskogee, though, and still have family there in OK. I love the wooden bird and nest and checked your etsy to see if it's for sale. Maybe it's already been snatched up or you're keeping it. If not, I'd love to know. hfraser@spsmail.org Thanks! Have a great week!
