How Can I Say Thanks?

There is no way I can ever thank all of you prayer warriors for your thoughts and prayers for John and I this week.

John is doing fantastic.  When they got in to do the surgery, it was nothing like what they were anticipating.  It took them 1 1/2 hours compared to the 3-4 they were expecting.  When the Dr. called halfway thru the surgery, he was just elated that it was going so well.

We went back to the Dr. today to have the catheter removed and the Dr. walked in and said "That surgery was a true miracle.  I've never seen anything like it.  I'm so glad you stopped us on the way to surgery and had prayer.  It certainly worked".

We all know it was all of the prayers lifted up by you bloggers and friends out there.  And I can never repay you for the prayers you prayed.

Thank you so much.

Thanks to Brenda, Beverly and Claudia for their post on John.  Their followers were praying for someone they didn't even know and I am so overwhelmed and grateful.

Enjoy life!

Judy

  28. Judy,
I don't comment much, but I have to tell you I feel like I've been sort of holding my breath for you and John until I read your post today. When you said the doctor acknowledged your prayers I started to "leak". So happy to read this good report. I will think on this all day. Continued prayers for you and John and your family.

  32. This is truly wonderful and amazing news. Thank you so much for taking the time to share with us. I have been watching Brenda & Claudia's blogs for updates, too. Good things should happen to/ for good people!! Prayers continue. And remember to take care of yourself, too, Judy. Like they say on the plane, use the oxygen mask for yourself FIRST so you are able to then help the others. As women we don't often think to do that. Again, thank you for taking the time to share your good news with all of us.

  33. Judy, I am so thankful that all went well. I know what you mean about prayer. This past summer my brother-in-law had a brain tumor. We asked all the people we knew to pray for him. When his surgery was over ( 7 1/2 hr.) we found out that it wasn't cancer. We could actually feel the prayers that so many had been praying. Prayer does work. I am again so thankful for things not being as they had thought. Continuing to pray for you and your husband.

  39. News about John was the best news I'd seen all day. Sounds like he had wonderful doctors, thankfully. Now you both need some much needed rest, it's so difficult caring for a sick loved one. It taps more than we realize, so rest, my dear.
