Saturday Treasures 4/26/2014

Fun, fun, fun!!

Found some good treasures today and believe it or not, everything in this photo came from one booth at the Flea Market with one exception - the tall piece of McCoy.

How much better can it get than to score two pieces of cream McCoy?  The tall vase came from a different dealer.  The bowl and everything else came from one booth.

I got a sweet red transferware cup and saucer that is marked "Early American Homes by Homer Laughlin, Arlington, Home of Robert E. Lee and the cup is Paul Revere's home.  Made in the U.S.A.".

A sweet little cup that is marked "Ivory Lamberton China, Scammell, U.S.A, Hotel President, Kansas City".

An old vintage jar of buttons - you know how buttons excite me!  And of course, some linens.

Look at this heavy, gorgeous silver tray with hairbrush and mirror.

Don't know exactly what this is, do you?  It is a pretty shade of green glass with an old metal top.

And I absolutely love this darling little shelf.  It will go in my kitchen on the wall (someday).  It appears that I'm going to have a whole wall of little different cabinets.

And to my last item....

A 1950's metal dollhouse in perfect condition.  I have the door - just forgot to put it on.

It seems to be in perfect condition.  Needs a little cleaning up.

Enjoy!

Judy

  1. Not sure what the green glass/metal lid container is but I totally love it. Great Finds. Maybe a jam container? Fun shopping.

  2. Exciting! I collect jadeite (mostly Fire King), and have never seen that little jar with lid. Other jadeite makers were McKee or Jeanette, but yours looks almost like Akro Agate. At first I thought it was a grease jar, but it doesn't resemble the FK or Jeannette makes, hmmm...
Love the McCoy pieces and, of course, the linens. :)

  17. Sweet finds Judy. I have both of those McCoy's in my personal collection. I cannot sell a Mccoy for anything though-I think folks somehow do not feel the love for pottery like we do. xo, olive

  25. You hit the Jackpot. I have a McCoy vase like the one with the birds. Mine is a different color and has some craving. The red shelf is perfect the way it is. I would love a kitchen without cabinets. I want that doll house. I had one just like it. It is in perfect condition. Way to score.
