The Last of the Neosha Trip and Saturday's Treasures

This is the last segment of my trip to Neosha, MO.  Part of these treasures are from the Saturday Tulsa Flea Market also.  So, here goes....

I thought this was a sweet partial set of ironstone.  I at first thought that it was holly design but it's not - just a leaf design.  No markings at all.  I got a platter and several saucers.

An elegant teapot.

A funny shaped little glass jar in a woven basket.

The silver pieces were a set of two and a whole sack full of tin tarts.

Some sweet colored pieces of pottery.

A sweet little china doll with jointed arms.  I will surely have to make her some clothes before Miss Laynee sees her.  LOL

A really pretty picture to be used for the 4th of July, a little bird wall pocket and some other little pieces.

See the wooden hoops in the first photo?  I got six of those and they are huge. The wooden box in the background of the first photo is a DVD holder.

Love this wooden shelf although I didn't get a good shot of the pretty sides of it, a couple of bunches of yellow tulips and a prim rabbit doll and

my find of last Saturday was this collection of vintage tablecloths.  I was so excited.

Enjoy!

  5. You found some wonderful things, Judy. Those dishes with the leaf pattern on them...are those premiums that used to come in boxes of Duz (I think it was Duz). They look like that but it has been so long ago- I don't remember. xo Diana

  17. Wonderful finds, I love the vintage linens. My late brother, younger brother, lived in Neosho for a few years a long time ago. I don't remember much about the town and I imagine it's changed and grown a lot since then.

  20. You did find some treasures, Judy! And I love the vintage tablecloths. Linens are the first area I go to when I visit Goodwill. My husband says we don't need any more stuff but linens don'g take up much room. Have you noticed that people don't seem to be ironing their cotton tablecloths and napkins on blogs anymore? I like the look and think I'll start skipping that chore, one less thing to do. I'm sorry you've had the problem with your eyes after having to skip the meds while you were sick. I hope you're eyes are better now.

  25. Judy, these are great finds. The tea pot is very lovely, and I love the sweet girl figurine. I have always liked figurines, and my mother-in-law has one at her mountain home of a girl playing the piano. I admire it every time I visit. These are treasures, indeed.
