Last Saturday the Tulsa Flea Market was closed (you can imagine my panic when I arose on Saturday morning realizing there was no Flea Market). But, I did hit a couple of Estate Sales and then the Flea Market today.
Love these two plates. The one on the right is English and has the most beautiful edge. It is called "The Kill".
Bags of linens and laces.
Some gorgeous blue pieces.
Pretty old tarnished silver pieces.
Red pieces of course.
Some wooden pieces - a tray, basket, large birdhouse and little wooden carrier tote.
Isn't this the sweetest wreath? It's all metal even the ribbon.
Love this little lace covered book.
It's called "A Pastoral" and was done in the 1970's.
Each set of pages has a poem about the pressed flower on the other side. All in some of the most beautiful detail. Interesting.
I have been sewing all week long working on new items for my Etsy shop. I am getting ready to go a different direction with my Etsy and will share more as I get further into the development of it.
I have also been sewing fun things for my great-grandbabies. Will finish those and share soon.
We are suppose to have horrible weather later today and all day tomorrow. Tornados, hail, the whole gamut.
Judy
Judy, I love all of your flea market treasures, especially the lace covered book. What a find! We are 60 miles south of Wichita, KS and we are also in for a variety of weather. Right now it is raining really hard. Can't wait to see what you have in mind for your etsy shop. Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteNice finds, especially the lace book and silver. Looking forward to seeing what you are making.
ReplyDeleteWe had thunderstorms during the night and dreary today.
Hope you are enjoying the weekend.
That book is an Exceptional Find, love it, priceless!! I hope your weather isn't too terribly bad today and the you are enjoying some great crafting/sewing time! We had lots of rain yesterday, cloudy and cool today, so unusual for May, but we will take it! Have a beautiful rest of your weekend! Blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteYou always find great treasures. Stay safe in all that weather. Hugs
ReplyDeleteWow, you found some exceptional dishes. I love the Royal Cauldon, I have quite a few of them...the beaded rims are so pretty. What a beautiful crocheted book cover.
ReplyDeleteIt is just now starting to storm up here in east/central Kansas. I sure wish Mother Nature would spread some of this rain out over the summer when it is really needed. Stay safe, Judy!
Oh Judy, I don't know what I love best - the Kill plate, the laces, the Pastoral book, the metal wreath - you did really, really well! Be safe, my friend, and I look forward to hearing about your new direction.

ReplyDeleteJudy, you always find some wonderful treasures. They are all very pretty - love the linens.
ReplyDeleteBe careful with all those storms - you and Bella stay safe. Does she get scared when they come?
Happy Sunday and looking forward to seeing all your lovelies you are making.
Mary
Judy, I'm a dishaholic, I'm afraid, and you found some beauties! I love the English one with that great rim, but they're all pretty.
ReplyDeleteI didn't see the news tonight and didn't realize OK was in for more storms. Stay safe.
At the risk of repeating myself, you find the neatest things, Judy! I love the dishes, linens, silver...all of it! I hope you won't have too severe a storm there. We had a tornado warning last evening and sirens were blaring, but thankfully none touched down around here. It rained again today and more on the way, they say. Just as long as the storms aren't tornadic, I'm okay. Stay safe and have a nice Sunday!
ReplyDeleteBird house looks interesting. Hope the bad weather steers away from you. Betty
ReplyDeleteSome great finds. I love all the blue china pieces you scored.
ReplyDeleteOut of all the amazing finds, the bird house is the most adorable! Perfect for our little feathered friends to weather the storms approaching! Take care xx

ReplyDeleteWow Judy, you really scored big time! Love everything you got. I have my table set with blue and white vintage and thrift find dishes right now. Your new treasures would fit right in. lol! I love and collect red transferware and have a similar plate. If it's red, it comes home with me as well. Love the vintage lace! Hope you don't get too horrible of weather. It's been raining here all weekend. No complaints because we really need the water, but I'm ready for some sunshine!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
