The Garage Sales and Estate Sales have been unbelievable this week. I'm only showing you part of what I got this week.
The metal stool in the back will be perfect cleaned up and painted for the new patio.
I found lots of small china and ironstone pieces. The cup in the upper left hand corner is full of the old vintage floral leaves.
Love the Private Property sign, the painting of the Eiffel Tower and the small washboard.
Isn't this the most gorgeous birdhouse you ever saw?
And then there are all of the doilies, hankerchiefs, and lace I found. I found a total of 46 vintage hankerchiefs this week. The selection of doilies was unbelievable.
This little sign says it all. The Story of Antiques
Grandma had it,
Mom threw it away,
Now, I'm buying it back.
Isn't that the truth?
Doesn't this make you drool?
Suddenly, this happened.
I just barely got in before it started pouring down rain. So, stay tuned for part 2 of my goodies.
Enjoy!
Judy
I'm drooling...I'm drooling!!! Are you happy now! heehee! I love that old birdcage and the pretty linens. And how true it is about antiques. My Mom threw everything away....and still does! Hugs!

ReplyDeleteHi Judy, I am in love with your birdcage...and, of course, linens are my weakness! I am always amazed at the priceless treasures that people don't want anymore...oh well, I'm always happy to take them home with me...hugs...
ReplyDeleteJudy, you do find the best things. Love the bird cage and the linens, but my heart is full of LOVE for the Eiffel Tower painting! I never find anything like that. So much rain this summer. Stay safe and can't wait to see more of your finds.

I do enjoy visiting when friends share their finds, I think it makes me feel like I'm shopping without spending any $$! I love the bird cage, so sweet! Enjoy your week! Blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteOh my mercy! Love your loot. That stool is so darling and well...I love it all. Of course I spotted that blue and white dish and drooled! LOL! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteYou always find the best stuff, Judy! I'm in love with that Eiffel Tower painting and the bird cage. Will you use the bird cage inside or outside, maybe with plants in it? All those pretty china pieces...I have donated so many of mine lately. I love all my tchotcke pieces, but nowhere to put them anymore. My basement was becoming an overflowing hoarding space (still needs a LOT of work!).
ReplyDeleteHi Judy, you found some great treasures. I love the old Eiffel Tower framed print. The sign is so true and cute too.
ReplyDeleteWe had those same clouds pass over. It's pouring rain here in north Texas with high winds. Flooding expected.
The water has no place to go since our lakes are still so high.
Have a blessed day.
Hugs, CM
So many pretty treasures here! I hope that you don't get too much rain, if that's from the tropical storm :(
ReplyDeleteYou did great! I love the birdhouse..ready to move in condition, And of course the Effiel Tower painting.
ReplyDeleteWhat great finds! I love the metal stool and that beautiful birdcage.

Ooo, I love the signs! Looks like you made some great finds! Also like those rolling clouds. Makes a pretty picture. :-) Not quite so much fun if they bring a bad storm.
DeleteI think you hit the jackpot! Awesome items and I did have to wipe the drool off my face! LOL! The quote about antiques is "right on"!
ReplyDeleteHow fun to find so many treasures, Judy. You are right, that is one awesome bird cage. Love it.
ReplyDeleteThe sign is so true too. Can't wait to see part 2.
What a haul! I love the birdcage and the sign -- so true. My mother hated anything old and shabby because she said that's what she grew up with!
ReplyDeleteJudy, you found a lot of fun things. Love that property sign as well. I have a couple of old washboards in my laundry room. Love them too! I adore linens, hot pads, and lace. Good pickins my friend!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
