Slowly Becoming A Red Bed

Am in the process of painting the four poster bed.

WHEW!!

It is taking a long time to paint all of the crooks and crannies on this babe!

But, I have two bed posts down.  The color is actually much darker than the photo. It darkens as it dries.  These were taken right after I painted.  A barn red - Plaster Paint calls it Old Red.

It appears it will take me most of this week to finish it.  I can only paint so much each day.  But, it's looking good.

Enjoy!

Judy

  21. Judy, I think that's why I love to see bits of your home. You love the color RED too. I have it in my kitchen, and red in the kitchen has always been so charming to me. This red color that you used for the bed is not too bright, it's just right. It's going to look very nice when you're finished.

    Have a peaceful Sunday.
