A Little Getaway!

I have been out of town for a few days.  My two sisters and I went to the Neosha, MO's annual citywide garage sale.  This is what our vehicle looked like before the unload #1!!  Now, it's not all mine!

When I came home, I was welcomed to all of these beauties....

...ending with my gorgeous pink azaleas.  I'm sure that Laynee will think these were planted to match her dress!  LOL  I will show you in detail some of the items I found in a day or so!

Enjoy!

Judy

  1. The previous owner of your house must have been a wonderful gardener! How fortunate you are to have all those wonderful flowers.. did you smell the Lily-of-the-Valley? Mine are just budding out. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

    1. The Lily-of-the-Valley do smell wonderful. The previous owners had had the yard professionally landscaped years ago and I am enjoying it so much. I'm not much of a gardener but am thoroughly enjoying working out in the yard. Every day is a surprise!

      Thanks for visiting.

    1. Thanks Mary! We did have a great time - shopping, talking and eating!! Bella stayed at my old house (her loveseat is still there) and a neighbor took care of her for me. She's still not comfortable when I leave her at the new home. It'll just take time.

    1. Thanks Lori! I did find treasures. The whole little town participates in this citywide sale. They even cancel school on Friday! They make a lot of the streets one way and you can walk 6-7 blocks with sales on both sides of the street. Amazing.

      Thanks for dropping by.

    1. It's not all mine! But, we did make five trips back to my sister's to unload. LOL There were 5 of us so we accumulated quite a bit of stuff. Will show you more later this week.

The flower beds are just gorgeous. I am so grateful to the couple who lived here before. What a blessing they left for me and Bella.

    1. It was a fantastic weekend. I had three sisters and we lost our baby sister at the age of 50 due to congestive heart failure. We were always very close but after that, we decided we would spend two weekends a year together - just the three of us. My one sister lives in Neosha, so Rita and I go up and spend 3-4 days at this great sale.
