Christmas On Mondays

Today's projects are so simple.  To start with, we are going to make a teddy bear Christmas ornament.

You will need:

Teddy Bear
Round Christmas Ball
Ribbon
Hot Glue

To start with, I had a red bear that I had bought last year after Christmas and also a box of red Christmas ornaments.

This sounds terrible, but, you want to take the head, arms and legs off of the teddy bear.

Next, you are going to hot glue the head to the top of the ornament.  Before you do, take the cap off of the ornament.

Then glue the arms and legs onto the ornament.

You can write a child/grandchild's name on the ornament.  Or just the year.

Next project:

I'm sure you have seen this precious Ball jar all over the internet and Pinterest.

You will need:

Mason Fruit Jar
Tan Spray Paint
White Acrylic Paint
Orange Acrylic Paint
Black Acrylic Paint
Paint Brush

First, spray your jar with the tan spray paint.  Take a sponge (I use the facial sponges) and sponge the snowman's face on and let dry.  Then add the orange nose and black mouth dots.  When that is dry, add the white dots and snowflake.

Note:  To make good dots with your paint, use the round end of your paintbrush.  Dip it in your puddle of paint and make the dots.  It makes perfect little dots.

As a finishing touch, wrap any kind of jute rope around the top and knot.

Around the house.....

Mums are popping out...

pumpkins and scarecrow in wagon in yard....

my pumpkin pillow ....

grapevine wreath with dried sunflower center and fall flowers.

Enjoy!

  13. Judy, this post hit home for me because my mom used to put these red balls all around her Christmas tree. When she passed away, I wanted some of the balls, but never got around to taking any, and so wish I had. This little bear is a cutie, and I love the red ornament for his belly hehehe. Thanks for the sweet memory.
