My Obsession With Little Things


I really do have an obsession with little things.  I seem to just drool over anything old and small.  

These are my Coca Cola glasses and holders.  The glasses come out and I really am not sure which glass is the oldest.


One is just a plain Coke glass and the other one is kinda "bubbly" glass.  


The holders spell out Coca Cola on the sides.  They are so cute.  I have found four of them and would love to find more.  I did find some at an Antique Show and I picked up four thinking the tag said $7.50 each.  When I got ready to check out they were $75.00 each!!  WOW!  So needless to say, they didn't come home with me.  There are two variations - one is alot heavier than the other.  The picture above is one of the heavier ones.


Then, I found these at an Estate Sale.  There were only three and one of them has a chip on the lip of the cup.  They are tiny - only about 2" tall.  The holder and the saucer are silver.  They are stamped on the bottom:

Porcelana
Verocruz
Pedreira SP
Made in Brazil


The saucers are so tarnished that they look sort of a bluish color.  Some day when I have absolutely nothing in the world to do, I'll try to clean them up!

(Probably not!)

I don't think they are good silver but they are so cute.

I love all small things, especially these three...


We have had so much fun over the holidays and I anticipate much more in the next few months.  I have a very positive attitude about 2017.

I think it is going to be a great year.

I had a great day on Saturday at the Flea Market and an Estate Sale.  Will post my great finds in a day or so.

    I love little things, too! I always have. I don't know much about anything you are showing there but the coke class that is kind of 'bubbly' and has a green cast to it---I bought a set of 6 of those back in the late 80s or early 90s. I had one of them around here for a long time but finally broke it. I have never seen the holders like that before though.
