I'm Back!!

The last month has been so crazy!!

Above you can see that I had hail several times during all of the rain we have had lately.  No damage tho.

The Peony Bush is just gorgeous...

Bella has certainly been enjoying the deck so far.  I moved her bed out there because it is so much softer than laying on the actual deck.

She had a bad spell with arthritis in her hip.  Just suddenly one day she could not get up.  Rushed her to our wonderful vet and they did a digital XRay and found out it was arthritis in her hip.  She's on meds now and back to her own self.  Gosh, it's scary when our pets aren't feeling well.

Thank goodness she's much improved.

Have been working a lot in the yard.

I have pink iris...

yellow Dutch iris...

don't know what this pretty big bush is...

lots of greenery on the fence...

and hydrangeas in bloom.

Put my bright and cheerful yellow wreath out on the front porch with this hanging basket.

But, what I am most excited about is that I already have tomatoes!!

They have really taken off.

Also, this last month, my babies have had Strep throat and have stayed with me off and on.  Laynee was so kind to share it with me so, I was down about a week with it.

I am also working hard on items for my Etsy shop for my Christmas in July sale.  I am attempting to make 100 items for the sale which will start on July 1st.

Thanks to you who have emailed and checked on me.  It was so appreciated.  Just been busy.

Have a great week.

Judy

  2. Missed you Judy. Your garden flowers and bushes are wonderful. Poor Bella but lucky there were meds for her poor hips. Our Peaches reached 14 years and finds it painful to get in the truck so mostly I drive her. I had a complete workup done with x-rays and blood work and the answer was she is in good shape for her age. It was interesting to see her x-rays and have them explained clearly to me, reasurring. Nasty bug strep throat. Mean too. Hugs.

    1. Thanks Joy! Time does fly by. Bella is doing very well on her meds. She can actually jump up and down off of the bed. I got some of those stairs but she will have nothing to do with them. Maybe they'll grow on her. I doubt it, but maybe. LOL

  3. Glad you're back, Judy! Hope everyone is recovered from their strep throat now. Your blooms are way ahead of ours here. My hydrangea bushes barely have a few green leaves peeking out from the ground! And tomatoes? We can't even plant them here yet. Still have frost warnings at night.

  4. So glad that everything is fine with you and that Bella is doing well with her medications. It's so scary when they don't feel well.

Your bushes and flowers are so pretty. MY 2 tomato plants did not do well. We had a lot of rain, wind and hail over the weekend. It also turned very cold from 90 to 60, that to much of a change.

Have a wonderful weekend and hugs to Bella from Waldo and Lili. Waldo has to go and get his rabies shot.

    Hugs,
    Mary

  7. Hi Judy
Glad all us well!! Your garden is beautiful. Love your peonies. I think I have that same mystery bush. I just planted it this year in several small spots. I got it at Calloways. It was called an Ice Plant. Bella looks comfy on the deck and so glad she's doing better with her bout of arthritis. Glad the strep throat is better for you all too.
Enjoy the week and Happy Mother's Day. xo
