Tiffany and I made a trip to Pryor (my hometown - about 45 minutes from Tulsa) to decorate the graves of loved ones. This is my Mom and Dad's graves along side my youngest sister Jane.
My dad was a WWII veteran and was so proud of his service.
Precious little Landen and the many lives he touched the short time he was here.
This photo needs no words.
Bella, Tiff and I miss you so much John.
Thanking all of the veterans for their service. How blessed we are to live in this great country.
Judy
Bittersweet all the way around....always a sad day for me....xo Diana

ReplyDeleteLots of hugs for you and Bella. As Nana Diana said it is Bittersweet. I am sure John knows you and Bella were there. His grave was beautiful with the decorations you put on it.

This day always is a bit sad as I so miss all my loved ones that are walking and talking with our Jesus....
ReplyDeleteLooks like you made a difference on your Memorial Day! Have a terrific Tuesday dear friend, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your love and loss here with us, Judy. My father was a WW II veteran too. He was always very careful to remind his daughters on this day and Veteran's Day of what had been done for us to enjoy the freedom we have now. And the little one there, and your beloved--a heavy heart here for your loss there.
ReplyDeleteA sweet and thoughtful tribute to your beloved husband, John and grandson, Landen, and a very special Memorial Day, as always, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Poppy
