Prayers and Fall in Oklahoma

First off, let me ask for your prayers and love for my great grandbaby, Kaycee.  She has been in the hospital this week with pneumonia.  My sister Jeannie is home and doing well.

Just last week, we got this antique piece of my furniture moved to the living room.  It had been in storage for a long time.  I inherited this from my aunt and uncle and have always loved it.  It is French and that's about all I know about it.  The hand painting on it is gorgeous.

I just kind of realized how drawn I am to painted furniture .....you think?????

My flowers are still going strong.  We have a few cool days, then a rain and then warm weather again.  I guess they like it.

We were expecting some stormy weather last week.  One evening I took this photos and they are so amazing....what our God can do!!

Enjoy!  Will be back in a few days with some shopping treasures from Estate Sales.

  11. Poor Kaycee, those little ones who experience respiratory after they are born take a long time to get over them completely. They are so vulnerable. thoughts are prayers are being sent her way.

  12. We'll all be praying for Kaycee and are so sorry about her having pneumonia. We got 2 types of immunizations for pneumonia, but I don't know if they have them for children? Judy, your French chest is beautiful! My dear mother was an antique dealer during her lifetime, and she loved using Old English dark furniture polish on pieces like that. I remember that she applied it only to the stained wood, and not to the beautiful, painted sections of the furniture. Love your other furniture pieces, too. God bless you, Bev
