A Rainy, Cold Saturday But It's Good!!

Well, it's a rainy, cold Saturday in Oklahoma.  I decided to photograph something "springy" to make me think it's nicer than it is.

Today, I went to my youngest granddaughter's college graduation.  She graduated as an Registered Nurse!  I am so proud of her.  She is a beautiful young lady who is also a genius!  She already has a job and plans on continuing her education all the way to Master's Degree.

I am so proud of you Caren!!

I am getting a lot of things accomplished for my Etsy shop.  We lucked out and didn't get the snow, just cold rain. So, I've tried to stay in and work on projects - that is not easy for me.

I didn't go to the Flea Market because of graduation, BUT, I did find a couple of cute little antique shops in Claremore where the graduation was.  Will share those finds with you tomorrow.

These pretty peach flowers and organizer are from TJ Maxx.  I got them on sale with a gift coupon I had.  I love the colors and they hold my books with all of my lists. (I am really not a list person, but at this stage, I had to make a list).

This photo looks really good in the daguerreotype style, don't you think?

Enjoy!

Till next time, Judy

  2. Congratulations to your granddaughter!

Your photos look great, both of them, but I do like the older style just a tish better.

  3. It takes a very special person to become a nurse, I believe that. Giving back to humanity is a wonderful thing. Wishing her much luck and success. I love that set you bought at TJ Maxx, Judy.

  8. Yes, it does look pretty in the old black and white style--wasn't sure I could spell daguerreotype (computer did it for me!). Those college ruled black notebooks are my favorite! I love using them. Congratulations to your granddaughter on her accomplishment!
