This year it seems I have been feeling especially patriotic. Feeling so proud to be an American and having all of the freedoms that we enjoy!! I don't think we have any idea of how blessed we are!
I plan on having a red, white and blue flower bed in my back yard around my Weeping Cherry tree.
I bought bright red and white petunias and have planted some seeds that are blue - don't remember what they were. They were a small ground cover to use with the red and white petunias.
The pansies are getting a little leggy.
I have my first hydrangea blossom, but....
look at the hundreds of blooms on my hydrangea bush. This is only about a third of my bush. I can't wait!!
I have been working diligently on items for my Etsy shop for the 4th of July season.
Lots of different sizes and colors!
Also, some pillows.
So, be sure and show your patriotic colors. We have so many things to be thankful for living in this country.
Enjoy!
Till next time, Judy
A red, white, and blue flower bed sounds lovely. My hydrangeas are full os blooms too. But I have been watering them to help them along:}

You get more done in one day than most folks do in a week, Judy.

Loved seeing all of this, Judy, you are so talented.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm thankful you are safe from the tornadoes. My heart goes out to the people who were in their path.

What a fun and patriotic pennant! I am very patriotic!
ReplyDeleteLove your hydrangeas. I have two small bushes and one is just now growing its leaves back and the other one has no signs of growth at all, so I'm getting concerned about it.
ReplyDeleteI'm not what you call "patriotic" but I AM thankful for living in this country and know I am blessed. Loving your red, white, and blue banner!
You've made some wonderful items for your shop. They'd make any home look patriotic!
