February Red

Hello all of my blogging friends.  Where does the time go?

I spent several days with my sister Jeannie who lives in Neosha, MO.  As usual, we shopped, ate and slept.  That seems to be our regular "sister schedule".

I put up just a few red decorations for Valentines.

Above was a set of red hearts in greenery in an vintage sewing machine drawer. This is in my hall bathroom.

A cute little Valentine's garland.

My favorite wreath for Valentine month.  My mother would have loved this because she loved pink and pearls.

My favorite Valentine pillow.

Here's just a sample of red in my home.  I didn't think I had this much, but.....

So, guess I am in a way, decorated for February.

I had my eye surgery last Thursday and it was successful.  I've had to wear an eye protector all week but it will be worth it.  I go back to OKC on Friday for another check.  So glad it is over.

Now, to a big THANK YOU!!!

All of you know Kris from Junk Chic Cottage?  She is definitely one of the sweetest and most caring people I have met while blogging.

She sent me this precious gift after Bella passed away.

It is a Willow Tree box with the carved top.  I am putting Bella's dog tags in it.  Kris did this when she lost her Cooper a while back.  Someone sent her the box and she definitely passed the sweet idea on.

Thank you so much Kris!!

Enjoy!

Judy

  1. I love your reds and the hearts and everything---but I am just smitten with that glass ball heart with the pearls. It is just beautiful.

Kris is just a Godsend to so many people. She is just as lovely in person (more so really) than she seems on her blog.

I hope you have a blessed Wednesday- xo Diana

  2. I love all of your sweet reds! Where in Neosho do y'all shop? I want to plan a trip but don't have any idea where to go these days. Back in the early 80's, we used to go to a place but I can't remember where it was and I am sure if I could remember, the area has changed so much that I wouldn't be able to find it, anyhow!

Such a sweet gesture from Kris.

    Grace & Peace,
