Blogger Friends Are SO Special


I had no idea when I started this blog four months ago, how quickly I would become friends with so many people that I would probably never meet in person.

One of these special people is Carolynn of Chenille Cottage.  
She won my giveaway in December and I was thrilled to send her the prizes.

But, then this week in the mail, I receive a package from her.  She sent me these darling pieces of red and white fabric (which she knew I would love).  I adored the fabric for several days and then picked it up to start making something out of it and out fell these precious measuring spoons.


 They were in the folds of the fabric and I had not seen them.  It is the most precious set you have ever seen.  It came with a little silver birdhouse to hang them on.  The three spoons say pinch, dash and sprinkle!  Isn't that the cutest?

    The print on that fabric is so pretty. I've never seen measuring spoons like that before. They are so cute. I liked your little white ceramic birds in the background, too.

    Sweet Judy,
    It was fun finding something that I thought you'd enjoy. I found them in a quaint little town called Julian, California. You have shared that you are remodeling your kitchen and what better than cherries and tiny little measuring spoons. It was just a little way of saying thank you for your kindness.

    I'm still here awaiting the birth of my grandbaby. He's overdue and we're all praying he comes in the next few days. Thank you for your prayers.
