Saturday Treasures

The Saturday Flea Market was fantastic last week.  There were alot of new vendors that I hadn't
seen before.  I got some goodies - linens and doilies, as usual, the box contains those sweet little mushroom birds.

This plate will go well with my collection of pink and green items that were my Mom's.

This pale yellow egg cup is for Brenda's collection.

Isn't this a precious salt and pepper shaker set with tray in chintz?

This silverplated small tray is so heavy.  It has so much detail.

The set of miniature Blue Willow dishes were from two different vendors. I have a set from my Mom, but these were very reasonably priced and I though I could fit them in with what I already had.

I always stop and think about all of the wonderful things I have that were my Mom's.  She left such a legacy - not only in material things and love, but in having a love for vintage items.

Miss ya Mom!

So, there are my treasures for this week.

Don't forget to sign up for my GIVEAWAY every day until Wednesday when I will announce a winner.

Enjoy!

Till next time, Judy

  13. Judy-I LOVE that plate! What a pretty, pretty piece. I used to have a blue willow set as a child- it was a real splurge for my mother and I remember it cost $3. for the set...a big price way back then. I have never seen a set anywhere around here- What a precious find- xo Diana

  15. Wow, you found some great items here, Judy. I especially like the salt and pepper shakers! And you can't go wrong with blue willow, ever. I didn't realize until you mentioned the egg cup that you were a friend of Brenda's. I realized it for certain when I read that you had made her a runner for her b-day. How sweet. :-)
Sorry it took me so long to get over for a visit. The holidays were so busy and I am just now getting free time to catch up and visit. Heck, I haven't even posted for weeks! LOL ~ Sue

  17. Judy your lovely display is wonderful! I love looking over all the different fun dishes I see here! I enjoy going to the thrift stores and finding new treasures. I like to like about who had them before I scooped them up! I recently found a teddy bear who was a 100th anniversary commemerating the birth of the Teddy Bear! It had the gift tag still attached. Sad, someone gave it to their mother. I wonder what happens that so many personal items end up in the thrift stores? Especially photos. Sigh!
I love stopping by and I really love the great runner here too!
