Just a short note to let everyone know that my momma is going to be alright!! She has arthritis pretty bad and last year was diagnosed with a long, medical term which actually meant arthritis of the eyes. After nine months of seeing specialists, they finally got it under control.
Then, in December, she was diagnosed with an ulcer and the Drs. here took her off of her arthritis meds till that cleared up. It caused her eyes to act up again.
Today, she went to the McGee Eye Institute of OU in Oklahoma City. They put her back on steroid eye meds until she can go back on her arthritis meds.
She wanted me to say thank you for all of your sweet comments and especially your prayers. They were truly appreciated and deeply felt.
Thank you from me and Judy!
Bella
Thanks, Bella! Oh Judy, I hope you are feeling better. I never knew you could get arthritis in the eyes. Take good care. xo
ReplyDeleteJUDY! I have the same thing!!! I just got off the prednisone drops because I had a flare in my eyes. I stay on Indomethicin all the time now but once in a while have a flare anyways. It sweeps my whole body, too- xo Diana

ReplyDeleteSo glad you'll be ok Judy. I was just reading up on arthritis in the eye on the internet. I never told my eye surgeon that I have arthritis. I guess I better the next time I see him. My right eye is going to need some laser surgery this year again.

Thank you Bella for letting us know that your Mom is going to be OK. For an artist (or anyone for that matter), I can't imagine anything more frightening than having problems with your sight. Give her some puppy kisses and tell her we are all so happy to hear she will be OK! Deb

Judy, I hope you are feeling better soon. When we lived in Edmond, my husband had the most wonderful retina specialist at Dean McGee by the name of Darren Haivala. Now that we are in Dallas we are in search of someone that we like as much as him.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a speedy recovery and enough " me time" to be good to yourself. Thank you for your visit to my blog, much appreciated. Hugs from Afrique du Sud Colette x
