I didn't shop as much this Saturday as I usually do, but I still found some treasures.
I found a single salt and/or pepper shaker, a tiny china chicken, a neat old clock, a jar of buttons, some gorgeous old silverware pieces, a 100 yard roll of red and white grosgrain ribbon, and a piece of MC COY!!!!!
This lot of old silverware has some really pretty patterns.
Isn't this little chicken the cutest thing?
Now, to my blonde moment (and I'm not even blonde). I said last week that these egg cups I found were really too big to be egg cups. DUH!! Julie wrote and told me to turn them over. Funny how that makes a difference!! Oh well, I haven't been well!!
Enjoy!
Till next time, Judy
You find the neatest things! Makes me want to get out there & do more treasure hunting.

I am drawn to the little clock, being a clock kind of girl...and then the silver.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like picking up a few pieces of silver to play with.

Too funny about the egg cups. I have never eaten an egg out of an egg cup so that makes me really country I suppose.
ReplyDeleteThat's really funny but understandable as most of us have only seen them used in movies. Sweet little china chicken!
ReplyDeleteJudy, Seeing your finds sure makes me want to go to goodwill. Love the chicken.xoxo,Susie

ReplyDeleteI'm sure glad I got some of that ribbon. I tied a piece around my biggest pitcher on the fireplace mantel.
