Do you remember the post I wrote about a month ago concerning the "Dino in our back yard"?
This was a redbud tree that would not die and grew to be covered in English Ivy. (We did not try to kill the beautiful tree - lightning hit it several times and split it down the middle.) The kids called it "Longneck".
While trimming it back to make sure it retained it's "Dino" shape, I found several holes in the old tree.
So, being me, who creates outside the box, I decided to go in and find some Fairy Garden items and fill those holes.
So, now one hole is full of dried moss and reindeer moss and has a little leaf covered arbor with my little Gnome in it.
The other one also is filled with moss and has a sweet little lamb nestled into the moss.
So, now the "Dino tree" has a couple of little extra things to delight Laynee and myself!
Enjoy!
Till next time, Judy

How cute, Judy! Yours is the second blog I read today mentioning fairy gardens. It has reminded me that I need to refresh the little one I put together last year. I need to find some of those really cute miniatures to use. Hobby Lobby doesn't have too much to pick from in their dollhouse area.
ReplyDeleteOh Judy how cute!!!! What a sweet way to fill those holes. You decorated Dino very nicely. Loved this.
