I am back from a wonderful vacation!! It was so awesome. Those in attendance were (backrow, left to right, Dale (Gina's finance), Gina, me, my sister Jeannie and front and center Kris (Shelli's partner) and Shelli. Shelli and Gina are my sister Jean's two girls whom I have always been really close to.
So, this is our gang.
We left Kansas City and flew to beautiful Seattle, WA.
I really don't know what I expected, but I didn't realize that Seattle was such a gorgeous city.
We stayed at the beautiful W Hotel right downtown in Seattle.
We went down to the Pike Center on the waterfront and visited it. It was unbelievable! This is where they throw the huge fish around and wrap them up for people to buy.
The flowers were just wonderful - everywhere! This is one of the outdoor patios at the market.
We visited the Space Needle.
Right next to the Space Needle is the fabulous Chihuly Gardens and Glass Museum. Oh my gosh!!
This gentleman had done a glass chandelier for an Oklahoma City building and we drove over to see it about a year ago. So, I was just thrilled that this museum and garden was right there where we could go visit it.
Everything we did was just spectacular and so beautiful. Two of my highlights were the following....
getting to visit with Paula - a blogger in Juneau who so graciously took some time while I was there to meet me and have a Coca Cola......
and going Zip Lining in Skagway. Gina and Dale went with me and I probably would not have survived without their encouragement. It was one of the highlights of my life - a close tie with Parasailing and swimming with the stingrays.
But, I'll tell you more about all of that later on. Don't want to bore you with too many "vacation photos" at once.
This was day one - in Seattle.
More to follow.
Had a great time, but am really glad to be home. Missed everyone.
Enjoy!
Till next time, Judy
You are a daredevil, Judy! Ziplining?? Never! You are a brave woman and I'm glad you enjoyed it. Your pictures of Seattle are beautiful! We only had one day to visit a few years ago on our way to Vancouver and I was super impressed. I wish we had all the time you did to see the sights.

Ziplining? How fun! I would love to have the chance to try that some day. You and your sister, Jeannie look SO much alike! :-)
