My little red wagon that I have had for 30+ years always gets decorated for Fall. Sometimes I do Christmas, but usually it is too cold to put much out in it.
I saw on Pinterest where someone had written "Welcome Friends" on their two big pumpkins and I loved the idea. So, I went to Wal Mart and got these two huge pumpkins for $4.88/each and wrote on them with a sharpie black pen. I think I may go back and do the writing in black paint and make it thicker and more noticeable.
Don't know what these purple flowers are but every year at just about this time, they take over my flower beds.
My beautiful hydrangeas are about to bite the dust. They are really drooping because the bush is so large.
My scarecrow I made is standing behind and guarding the wagon full of pumpkins, fall leaves and berries.
Happy Fall!
Enjoy!
Till next time, Judy

ReplyDeleteHi Judy, I love what you've done with your little red wagon, a beautiful way to welcome guests. If it ever turns cool here I am going to get my wagon and do something like this, just to hot now. Such a sweet and creative scarecrow, love the flower in the hat. Great inspiration! I’ll be your latest to follow.

How cute Judy love the use of the wagon:)
ReplyDeleteThe purple flowers are a cousin of Mexican Petunias. They grow tall and Mexican Petunias grow in short little clumps like monkey grass. But the flowers are identical and the leaves are, too, except your leaves are growing on long stems, right?
ReplyDeleteYour wagon arrangement looks so cute, Judy. You also have beautiful handwriting! Wish I did.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! :)
ReplyDeleteYes! Fall is definitely in the air! Love your wagon! I'd paint the welcome friends darker so it really stands out! I do love fall decorating the the gorgeous colors when the leaves turn, but I still get a little bit sad to see summer go because it gets dark so early.
