I'm so sorry Judy. Those bad days are very difficult to get through sometimes. Grief hangs on.. and will always be there in one form or other. Some days it may hide away a little bit, shoved back because of a little laughter, or a friend being there.. but other days it "rears its ugly head" as the saying goes.... but like your quote, it IS a sign that there was a great love there. I hope you DO get a good day now and then too. Marilyn... who lost her 24 yr old son 5 years ago.
Oh- I am sorry for the day, Judy. Some days the grief is just too hard to bear and we wonder how we will ever get through- but we do...and you will. Saying a prayer for you right now- xo Diana
Love to you Judy. I look at the sweet little pillow with the secrets pocket you sent me when I was ill and remember your kindness to a blogging friend, every day. Hugs. Joy
I am so sorry you're not having a good day, but please never apologize for that. I will be remembering you in my prayers today for some peace and comfort.
So sorry. I love what Kahlil Gibran said: "The deeper sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain." Your pain is part of your love story. I wish I could be there to make it better. XO
I'm so sorry for your loss and that it was a tough day today. Never apologize for your grief, or feel the need to rush through it. Give yourself permission to cry. I will keep you in my prayers. Big hugs:)
Such a true quote! You are doing well, it ebbs and flows like the sea, it comes in waves! Sending many {{{hugs}}} and prayers, Judy! Blessings, Cindy xoxo
I have learned as you and lots others, grief is part of our lives. Sadness and pain is part of this old world also and we all face it one time or another.
We are all with you , hugs and wishing for fun days ahead for us all. If it wasn't for this blog I would have been crazy with depression
Judy, I am sending my thoughts and prayers your way. Grief and mourning sadly I understand and know all too well. But your heart and memories keep your loved ones with you and there is comfort in that. I am blessed to have vivid dreams of my son, hope you have visiting dreams too. xo, Vera
Judy, don't be sorry for feeling the way you feel. We were never meant to experience such painful things as the loss of a loved one. May God, your family and friends give you all the comfort you need to face those moments. One day for sure instead of feeling pain because of the loss, we will feel love because we will be reunited with our loved ones. Hugs, Arlette
Sorry having one of those bad days. My mom passed away a few years ago and she wasn't the best mother, but she tried. There a little things that remind me of her once and awhile and the pain of loss is still there and some people might think my next comment is ridiculous or corny, but my sweet, angel dog passed away last year and I think of her every, single day and wish she was still here. Grief, to be quite honest sucks. I might not know you personally Judy, but I'm sending you a big hug and prayer. God bless you!
My heart goes out to you today -- may God grant you the peace and comfort you need. I know what your quote means -- there are days that I still grieve the loss of my oldest son 18 months ago and other days that I just relish the memories we have and the knowledge that his suffering is over. It is a different process for each of us. Just take whatever time you need.
If I could send you a big box full of hugs, I would do that. But, want you to know, I am thinking of you..Day by day. goes by, and your grief will get softer, but sadness will never go away, which makes happy memories precious..Months and even years may bring tears, and sometimes, a good cry helps...been there, being strong is "tough".....I am so sorry for your loss.
Oh, dear Judy, I'm just now seeing this. Sending you all my love and as many hugs as you can stand. It won't be easy. There will be terribly hard days. The thing is to live them, let them wash over you, feel what you need to feel. I wish I was there to give you a hug and maybe make you laugh a bit. I'm good at that.
I don't know what happened to my comment....but sending you hugs... Losing the love of your life is a huge trauma. Days will be good with many not so good too. It's and up and down cycle, but I believe John is with you in spirit and memories!
Sending you hugs and keeping you in my prayers.
