OMG!! If you read my post about my episode of growing tomatoes, then you will understand how significant these two tiny little tomatoes are to me!
And no, I did not hot glue them on!!
This morning when I went out to water and check my flowers and plants, lo and behold - there were two tiny little tomatoes. I was so elated!
I knew my two plants were growing like crazy and I had lots of little flowers but, I was still thrilled!!
A couple of my great finds estate shopping on Saturday included these two beautiful Pier I indoor/outdoor chairs for $60.00/set and
this cute little cabinet with shelves and doors and
beadboard on the sides and cute little feet. Can't wait to show you what I am going to do with it.
More Saturday Treasures in a day or so.
The rest of the photos are just beautiful plants and flowers. Some, I know what they are and some, I just buy because I like their looks.
Phlox is still pretty but beginning to turn into green foilage.
Hydrangea is loaded this year.
Have great and blessed Sunday!
Judy
There's nothing better than home grown tomatoes. We picked a pepper yesterday! Sweet hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteHi Judy! Yay! You have tomatoes! Don't you know John is peering down and grinning from ear to ear to know you have these little tomatoes! :) Those Pier 1 chairs are beautiful and can't wait to see what you do with the little cabinet.
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping in to see me and we do have to be careful how we word things on the computer when we're looking up stuff! ;)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Judy, congratulations on your not glued tomatoes :-).
ReplyDeleteNo seriously I'm happy for you. And those flowers look really nice.
Take car!
I meant 'Take care!'
DeleteThe first fruit of the season, always a joy! They are going to taste so good.
ReplyDeleteAlso, how do you grow hydrangeas?

Looks like all your plants/flowers are doing well. Love the lemoncello petunias. Started to buy some a couple of days ago.
ReplyDeleteNice finds - the chairs and cabinet.
I was eating a salad when I read about the tomatoes. Love the disclaimer about not hot gluing the tomatoes ~ nearly choked on a cucumber I was laughing so hard :-) I am crazy about those wicker chairs. Just love the shape of them! I will keep a secret about that darling cabinet because after you put your magic at work it will be even cuter!
ReplyDeleteBig Texas Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
ooo, cute little tomatoes, too. :)
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to find a couple wicker chairs like that...they would be painted snow white...with navy and blue stripe cushions....:)
Judy, Things are looking pretty at your house. I think your John helped with those tomatoes :):) Great find with those chairs. Blessings , xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteJudy, I also have tomatoes and I have several with holes in them and I am not happy. I found one dead caterpillar, it must have gorged itself to much.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Meredith
You're ahead of us, just bought the plants today. Maybe by July 4th they'll be ready?
ReplyDeleteWhat very cool chairs!
Congrats on the tomatoes! Say, those chairs would look fabulous on my front porch...painted white....just sayin. How'd you get them home? In the truck?
ReplyDeleteYou are so much farther ahead in the growing season than we are! My cherry blossoms just bloomed today and the phlox are trying to bloom! I love you wicker chairs, such unique backs to them!! Hoping you find more tomatoes soon..I see little flowers, so there is hope!!
ReplyDeleteHooray on the tomatoes!! It's exciting to see all your flowers because pretty soon my porch and patio will have pretty pots of flowers like those, too. You are a few weeks ahead of us on all the blooms, that's for sure. Great find on those Pier 1 chairs. I bought one at Goodwill a few years ago and spray-painted it turquoise and am actually using it in my living room. It's very sturdy. Can't wait to see what you do with that cabinet!
ReplyDeleteJudy, so glad to see that you have tomatoes on your vines. My husband just checked his garden today and found about three little green ones growing too, so this post comes at the perfect time. I can't wait to taste one that is red and juicy - there' s nothing like home grown tomatoes. Your chairs are so charming. I haven't seen them at Pier 1 yet. And I always have to stop for red flowers - yours are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteHave a pleasant Sunday, Judy.

Judy, It is so exciting to have tomatoes. You will have to share when they are ripe and you eat one! Your garden is looking so pretty. If I have some time this week I'm going to buy some flowers. Love the chairs and the little shelf, so cute.
